Sophie is dead

Sophie died today, aged 14 years. She had been diagnosed with renal failure two weeks ago, and deteriorated quickly, to the point where she lost 300 grams over the last 48 hours.
We decided to have her euthanised to save her from considerable suffering.
Sophie was found in the Gold Souk in Dubai as a baby. She travelled with our other cat – Mistle – to Brunei, Singapore, Norway and Spain.
Goodbye Sophie, and thank you for the 14 years of companionship.
